If that's humour, it's not funny.

I think its phips way of saying rat boy is a deluded cunt.

Hope so.

in what world could that possibly be interpreted as anything but that?

Never sure Phips.
A lot of what you write comes across as incendiary.
I think I did write before that maybe a lot of your humour goes over our heads as well as the other way around.

So it was sarcasm, then was it?
That's American for humour isn't it?

Given some of the refereeing we've faced this season I was surprised Ederson wasn't sent off for viciously headbutting Mane in the foot.

Watch on youtube.com

it's US humor, it's different to ours

Normal behaviour in victimpool on a Friday & Saturday. Surprised he did introduce him to 'Stanley'.

As for their fans - FILTH !!

I thought it was a brilliant bit of goalkeeping. So brave and so precise. He knew what could happen and still went for it. Your taught to be on the front foot and he seems to do this very well. He took one for the team and I don't think that will be lost on his team mates.

Been quietly impressed with Ederson. Has quietly gone about his business. Very calm and unfussy. Just how it should be IMO.

I don't think it is lost on the fans either, mate.

I agree with you that Ederson has been excellent so far, apart from a little bit of understandable nerves in his first game.

I hope Bravo is equally competent if he has to deputise for a match or two.

I think Bravo will be fine. Last season was just a complete freak one which surprised everyone. I never saw that coming. I think he will show fans his truth worth this season.

I really hope so. If he can ram the snide little comments down people's throats, it will be wonderful for him.

Great to see the fans getting behind Bravo when he came on.

I don't think he meant it. It was reckless yes, and he knew he was endangering Ederson so he deserved a red, but there was no malice. Split second and he would have nicked it over the keeper.

Question is, had he got there first would a free still be awarded against him for high foot?

kdb / danny blind at the swamp this time last year springs to mind.....

studs up to control the ball, gets there a split second before the defender

Waist height, defender stationary.

point i am making is that if the brown had mistimed it, he would have taken the defender out. he wouldn't have meant as he was going for the ball.

Don't think he would, the ball wasn't close enough to Blind because he stood there like a statue and didn't challenge.

Without a doubt - they were basically going head on against each other for the ball, studs were out, leg was straight and fully locked at contact, foot was at least shoulder height for an average player's height - the fact anyone (never mind almost everyone) can criticise the decision to award a red is absurd.
