We never seem to be able to do these deals. I know there will not be world stars available via Bosman deals but we should be able to get maybe one or two of these to make up numbers. We should also be able to tap up good players whose contracts are nearing the end during the autumn.

Sanchez is one such player. 12 months left but the Arse want £50m for him.
The posturing is unbelievable, now at they'll let him leave for nowt but they know there's a few in for him.

Usually i would agree but i dont recall seeing anyone i fancied on the list this year. Anyone stick out? I remember during the dark days the bosman list was the highlight of our transfer targets and we still rarely got the ones i wanted! I remember being so happy with Dabo.......o the good old days!

Just had a look at the current crop, very underwhelming list. Apart from Mario, Pepe & Kolašinac (who's heading to Arsenal) our guys are probably the best of the lot, which is telling.

Our Bosmans since the takeover: Mooy, Sagna, Wright, Hargreaves, Nielsen, Sylvinho, Vieira. Pretty good record actually, as all but Hargreaves have been pretty useful.

Stuart Taylor and Richard Wright missing from your list. Valid point though.

Wright is on it, but you're right about Taylor. For some reason transferleague.co.uk had him marked as tribunal.

They were all years ago basically. We could work that market all we want yet never take advantage these days.

I admit that this years crop wasn't anything special but the point stands.

I think for the level we're at now, if they're on a Bosman, then there's a good reason why.

Juve have signed some great bosmans recently, fair play to them. I'd have Balo back, forgot how much I loved him until I saw him in the 9320 documentary, implying he wanted to batter thanks Joey

That shocked me that it was his first assist of the season, maybe that says a lot about Balotelli and why we've moved on. That of course was the season he was sent off against Arsenal and I thought our challenge was over

We should get him back as PR director.

Start our own darts team and he can head it up.

He's on a Bosman?

Only been at Nice for a season. What happened there? Was he on loan from the dippers?

Spot on he def joined in January and did a good job even with seriously heavy legs.

I don't think bosmans are a thing anymore, at least at the very high level. Usually the teams sell one year before it all ends with the player, because they know he is not signing a new contract.

I think the "semi" bosman we last sign was Sterling? One year before his contract expiration date?

Hard to find anyone good enough today, clubs tend to secure their top players.
