Erm, Pep reinstated him Carl, it was the injury he picked up in the Derby that saw him out of the side at the end of the season.

Erm. PeP has just replaced him with a proper keeper...that tells us all what he thinks.

Got to agree with Carl, the price suggests he is going to get the lion's share of match starts... You don't pay that much for a second choice 'keeper.

A proper keeper, here's hoping. What were your thoughts on Bravo before last season Carl?

We were always going into the market for a keeper this summer, given Caballero was out of contract, so really it tells me nothing, yet.

That's a reasonable conclusion I guess but I'm sure Pep hasn't decided yet who will be first choice going into the new season.

I'd hope he'd base his decision on who is showing the best form at the time and not pick someone because of their price tag.

Fingers crossed whoever gets the nod gets the backing of the supporters.

You are not sure if PeP has decided who will be first choice ????? Ill bet he fuckign has mate !

Prior to Bravo coming I thought he was a good signing and its very rare for a supposed top keeper to have a fuckign shocker that he had (Incredibly ,Hart managed to mirror image him in Italy) so I cannot cannot see this one going the same way..it just rarely happens in world football that Keeper turns to shit.

A player that cost the club a fortune is always wanted to play by the club...and seeing as its the manager who wanted the player then he is under pressure to actually play him more often than not.

The supporters only turned on Bravo because he was fuckign dire match after match...he never got shit from day one ffs!

“Ederson has all the talent to become a top-class goalkeeper,” says Vitor Alvarenga, editor of the Portuguese magazine Maisfutebol. “The special ability that made Guardiola pay attention is that he is very strong with his feet, but Ederson also has not only the agility of a great keeper but the security too. I believe he will soon be the No1 keeper with Brazil.”

Heard he's done this a few times but refers to his last game where he assisted from a goal kick to just outside the penalty box since there is no offsides from a goal kick. Crazy weapon to have with our pacey forwards.

Welcome to our family Ederson. On the face of it it's a lot of money but we earn huge amounts these days and £30m is becoming a standard fee. Good luck and let's give the lad a proper chance

Do you ever stop defending the undefendable ?Bravo was fuckign shit and everyone can see it, and thank fuck ,eventually, so did PeP.

We may get WTF moments with him but with Bravo we got WTFFFFF in 99% of his games.

Welcome Ederson.

Lol.
Was just thinking the same. Even Pep, the most fucking stubborn man on the planet, looked at Bravo and told him "you can publish those gay porn pics of me you've been blackmailing me with all you want but I'm not fucking watching another minute of you". I know for a fact that Bravo's mum thinks his son is fucking shite and doesn't talk to him anymore bringing all that shame on Bravo name. Yet on this planet there is one person not named Claudio who still thinks he is quite ok goalkeeper. Amazing.

Welcome!

I didnt rate either tbh. Cant think of a quality one i have seen in my lifetime.

Only one i can think of is Dida. But there is a shortage.

The bar is low if he is deemed quality, i dont care what he has won! Good singer though....

Julio Cesar was quality for Inter for about 7 years. Pretty washed up by the time he played for QPR though. Brazil is pretty big into basketball, which I'd guess would help to develop better keepers.

There's also Rogerio Ceni, who scored over 100 goals for Sao Paulo. Sounds like a quality Pep would like in a keeper

It didn't help that he was taken from the airport by taxi straight to the old toilet and all without a word of English. Even just "MINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" would have helped. Not trying to excuse him; he was shite and limp-fingered in most games.

Such a shame Caballero was let go before a fool could be found for Bravo.
