Otamendi apparently took him out in the Brazil Argentina match. Jesus, stretchered off. Check injury, well done Otter....c@@t!

I can't see any updates on how Jesus is, but here's the link;

Can we use this as an excuse to get rid of Otamendi?

While it sounds like Gabriel had to go to the hospital because he blacked out for a bit, it seems nothing serious. He also should have scored earlier in the 2nd half:

But should be an instant sacking. Fake hardman takes out one of his best teammates in the 3rd minute of stoppage time. Complete waster

Perhaps otter thought a lump on the head is preferable to him getting properly injured in one of these pointless friendlies?
Team player.

Back in the day you had to smash someone's head with a lead pipe before they'd go down. Now only it takes a stray elbow to the face....

Otamendi's performances are not enough for us to get rid apparently so I was hoping this might. Clutching at straws I know...

From that footage, the bang from Otamendi appeared a bit innocuous. Certainly not a "Fellani/Ibrahimovic" style full on elbow.

I think Otamendi has improved at City and finished the season very well with VK. Some websites have reported Otamendi has some of the best defending statistics in Europe this season. He has been linked with Real Madrid this summer.
For us this season, we have won 75% of the games he played and only 35% of the ones he missed.

Does that mean he'll be wearing an eyebrow obscurer, er, I mean face guard, for the foreseeable?

So he'll be wearing phantom of the opera face mask ala fabregas and gascoine I guess

A bit more serious than we thought I'm guessing he didn't drink much milk as a kid
