Bit pissed off that scum seem to be getting positive press for planning to throw buckets of cash at this deal. Nothing about paying over the odds etc.
I know I shouldn't let it bother me.

Rags have been slaughtering Guillem Balague on Twitter
He said Sanchez has a simple choice “Pep v Money”.
Even Neville has seen his arse with him.
They don’t do irony, and the truth..
He still might fuck them off, and wait to sign for us in July,(which would be a fucking hilarious snub to them
)

Well it's because the media hate them according to some deluded rags.

Balague is very clear that Sanchez prefers Pep. He argues there are people around him pushing the extra money angle.

Funny actually, he’s the type of petulant little twat that would fit in at the rags.

Just close the window now and be done with it. Could care less this time around. If he chooses to wait until Jan and sign for us he’ll gain some respect from me. If he goes to United I’ll loathe him completely. If we pay a big fee I’ll be annoyed to be honest anyway. Fuck everyone involved.
Tracking back is overrated.

Always been the same mate, everytime the rags throw their money around, the media go on like it's something to be proud of.
Been that way my entire lifetime, and I'm an old fucker.

I think maureen is trying to make it about him (what a surprise) versus pep. Lets face it pep has pissed him off big time with being er well better than him by a distance and maureen has been clutching at straws with the things he has tried to throw at pep via the media.
So in light of this he is trying to force pep to pay arsenal more for sanchez than he would like, with a 'cant lose' bonus of acquiring a top class player that pep has long been a fan of if pep digs his heals in and the player joins the rags.
What maureen may not realise is that 1) at 29 sanchez may well want trophies particularly the league and 2) he doesnt give a flying for maureen and just wants to play for pep as he has long since stated and 3) if he should join the rags its because city/pep have let him go there.
So sanchez's agent has a lot to gain in getting the best deal for himself... sorry i meant his client and the rags may be his preferrred option but if its the case that sanchez prioritises trophies then surely he will join city.
I'd like sanchez to join city but absolutely pep should stick to his guns and if its £20m its £20m.

Meanwhile that bitter clapped out old cunt Wenger is loving the limelight it sort of takes the heat away from how shit a manager he has become at a huge club like Arsenal and how shit Arsenal are doing this season when they could and should have got £60 million from us late last summer but they (Arsenal) even managed to fuck that up ! Absolute joke of a football club , there fans deserve so much better but under Wenger they are in free fall and only interested in corporate ££££s . I really hope MCFC have the last laugh in this pathetic soap opera even if it means walking away holding 2 fingers up at a pathetic Arsenal FC and Wenger .
Not really here

All this makes me smile and I await the end-game.
City walk away knowing that Sanchez will not sign for the Rags or anybody else.
The deal is done between City and Sanchez.
Arsenal make the call on when it happens - now or in the Summer.
Is the correct answer.
All this talk of hundreds of grand per week are just another smokescreen and another stick to beat us with later. The mentioned 250 grand a week will include his signing on fee over the course of his contract.
However, imagine the Rags giving Arsenal 30 mil, his agents fee and then 400 grand a week? I wouldn't blame him for taking one last big contract but I have a sneaky feeling that Sanchez isn't just about money, he also wants glory, which won't be achieved with them.
I think we are now in a position of real strength with regard to players, no other club offers what we do, and we throw the rain in for free!
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".
