City won't pay £33 m for Evans,Pulis will be caught trying to be too clever & will be left with a pissed off player.

We should offer Arse £40m + £1 take it or leave it now. If they leave it offer Alexi a pre contract in January leaving Arse with a disenfranchised player a no dosh.

Twixt time offer Costa a short term contract till Jan.

Wi win, laff laff.

ITK reports that the deal has been done for awhile and we're just playing along so arsenal can make their replacement signings easier

Not sure who Arsenal would want now they've given up on Lemar. At any rate their stance on players with only a year on the contract has softened at least Oxlade Chamberlain. He won't renew so off he goes. They must surely still be in the market for someone. The last few days of the window could be exciting. And there's always 'Arry wheeling and dealing on the last day to keep Sky happy.

I would probably have believed it the way he hasn't featured in the Arsenal team up until now but it seems he will be back in action this weekend.

Don't understood why we would play along unless the fee is reduced. We owe Arsenal fuck all. Should just call their bluff and give a deadline. If he signs, great. If he doesn't then we will just sign an agreement in January and get him for nowt in July.

Very interesting twist this morning .

Arsenal may meet the buyout but surely the player wouldnt leave Madrid for Arsenal? Especially as they now are the dominant side in Spain and the CL

Reports that City + Arsenal had high level talks last week regards Sanchez. That a transfer fee has been agreed.

The delay in announcing is to give Arsenal enough time to find a replacement. Reportedly they are trying to sign Mahrez from Leicester.

I find this scenario more believable than the Isco one.

Or if you were negotiating, what would make us think they weren't sellers unless we give them their price.

Will get a better feel when we see how he plays and his attitude with his team mates which wasn't great last year.
