City twitter sources including the MEN suggesting deals for Jonny fucking Evans and Shaktar Donetsk midfielder Fred are very close ....... betting on Evans joining us has picked up pace the last hour or so he is now 2/5 on from 2/1 . Seems we are settling for strength in depth this window to fight on all 4 fronts ? and Jesus back fit quicker than expected ?

I do think we will sign JFE. WBA want silly money but they need to sell to buy. City not moving yet in the hope WBA will accept less to give them time to spend it. Maybe United and Mourinho are just trying to mess up the deal to us because it would strengthen us, but have no intention of seeing it through at that price.

Could be they were playing games but it could also be that Maureen was as well. If the Rags get this through then it's not only costing them huge expense for Sanchez, it's gonna cost them a fortune to square Mkhitaryan away.
