I think we have a system in place now that is starting to work well
I think there will still be times when we will buy a 'star' player when needed, but I have a feeling that it is all about the dynamics of the squad from now on.
The strength of the current City side is that they are all so close and work for one another, there is no room for a Maverick

Seen possible comments? Dunno if it's just me but instead between the lines that he wanted him. He said prices will be more expensive in the summer and you have to anticipate that ? Unless he's saying pass in Sanchez to afford the summer

I think a lot of people are misinterpreting pep on this.
When pep uses the term "manager" , he's referring agents. He's used this term several times before. He uses the term "coach" when he's talking about the likes of Wenger or the Happy One.
This piece is just one of a number of pieces I've read that have it wrong.

As far as i can tell, what pep is inferring is that it's the agent's fee that decided the player's move in this case.

right you are. i understood the OP but the wording wasn't correct.
just like i acutally wouldnt call Sane an unearthed gem either. albeit not for the same reasons as KDB.
