Bafetimbi Gomis signs for Galatasaray for an undisclosed fee. He had been at Marseille on loan last year where he had scored 21 goals in 33 games, a decent return it must be noted.

Wonder if the Turkish fans will appreciate the panther celebration?

Oh get you Carl. I think Kolarov is fit. Fair play on admitting you're a fan of Defoe.

Anybody find it odd we're never mentioned when academy products do well? Everything about Trippier is about spurs rewarding youth. Happens a lot in my mind.

Fabio Borini joins Milan on an initial loan with an obligation to buy. He scored twice last year. How shit must Milan now be?

And what is this trend for a loan with an obligation to buy. Bit like Jovetic. Just sign the fucking player.

Everton have been busy. Have signed Henry Onyekuru for £7m and loaned him straight out to Anderlecht as he doesn't qualify for a work permit. They have also sold Gerard Deulofeu back to Barcelona after they exercised a buy back clause.

i dunno. Milan is splashing the cash now that they've been bought. Kessie, Andre Silva, Borini, Ricardo Rodriguez, and theyre in the mix for Calhangolou. i could see them making the CL next year.

as for loan w/ obligation I've often wondered the same. i guess it's just shifting the expense to another transfer window and another FFP period.

Southampton sign Jan Bednarek from Lech Poznan for a fee of about £5m. He is a Polish under 21 International. Seems to me to be a lot of money. English clubs are being ripped off because everyone knows the riches the PL clubs now have. If that were a transfer between two Polish sides the fee would be a fraction of what it is. Same if he was transferred to a German or French club for example.

No doubt a future dipper in the making!

Barca itk Rafael Hernandez says Barca don't want to pay the 40 million Arsenal would want for Bellerin. Is he a better bet than Walker? There again it would be difficult enough to get Sanchez off them, let alone two players.
