Can't seem to find out about how he plays i.e. back to goal, ball in the air, ball played through or about his ball control and shooting abilities.

I wonder if Everton have pulled a bargain out of the fire and, if they have, was any other team looking at him as well ??

All very much under the radar, it would seem.

He's a tricky, ambidextrous winger/attacking midfielder. Smart player for his age, very good on the ball, good passer, but also physically quite robust.
Made his debut for Hajduk Split as a 16 year old and practically went into the starting lineup straight away. His sister is world champion high jumper Blanka Vlašić, his father is a former decathlete who coached both of them from a very young age.

Everton wrapped this one up quickly after he impressed in the Europa League qualification tie between the two clubs and he said that they contacted him after the second leg. He was the stand-out Hajduk player in both games along with Gambian midfielder Hamza Barry.

I am a bit surprised that he received a work permit, as he has only one cap for the senior national team. I think he'll need some time to transition from a very poor league to the fast pace in the Prem. He seems like a grounded and hardworking kid, so I'm positive he'll make it eventually.

Thanks chum for that.

The Europa context explains it all and it'll be interesting to see how he fares in the PL.

Thanks again.

He's been out of the picture for a season and a bit now, not sure why - seem to prefer Rob Eliot but always thought Krul a decent keeper

I wonder how much he would have cost if we had come calling ??

I would have thought Joe would have mentioned him to Pep as a potential purchase..........but then perhaps not.

Mat Ryan was horrible against Japan last night too.

Didn't PSG spend 300 mill on Neymar? The maths doesn't seem right.

222M, which is what his release clause was. then 16M on a left back. thats it.
