Resembled Micah rather too much in footballing terms tonight. Maybe they are right and he's not fit yet. Mare of a match in a 4 nil.

Yeah, he didn't have a great game. The ball bounced off him, he lost possession, and misplaced quite a few passes when under pressure. Maybe he should just stay north of the halfway line :-)

Thought the same.
Himself and Bernardo struggled at times to get up to the pace of what the rest of the team wanted to play.
Thought Bernardo wasn't on the same wavelength at times and yet you can see in both of them that they'll be fine.
They will be immense for us when they've had time to gel.

still got an assist, still put in dangerous crosses, still a threat, kept a clean sheet not bad for someone who had a "mare".

He put in a fantastic shot for the Jesus goal. Rare to see such power and accuracy for a defender shooting.

It's great to see him enjoying life at City. A happy character.

The more player's gel together, the more chance of cooperation and success on the field.

If he gets injured during the season, he should take over the Official City Twitter feed on matchday, would be hilarious

If twitter and Mendy was about with us in the 90's then it would be the sort of thing a club could sanction. Not now sadly, too much chance of getting a fine/game ban for saying the wrong thing. Shame because he is brilliant!

I wondered about that. He seems to have an amazing grasp of English and a decent knowledge of British culture and humour for a French guy...Probably has some PR guy on his social media accounts while he sits in a corner in a beret, chain smoking and eating frogs legs.

You get a glimpse of Mendy’s infectiously impish ways when he beckons this interviewer and the translator

tweets may be his idea but he clearly has help

This is how you know for sure there is a media bias against us. A Frenchman is having to say, "Maybe the sarcasm was too much" about 2 English talking heads "misunderstanding" him.
