Girona have a couple of upcoming friendlies that may be of interest to forum members in the east midlands and northwest:

Nottingham Forest vs Girona, Tuesday, 25 July @ 19:45
Oldham Athletic vs Girona, Thursday, 27 July @ 19:00

How many of our lads will be with the club, training and ready to play in these games by Tuesday? I'm not even sure who'll be with them for the season, but a report in MEN back on 23 June listed Pablo Maffeo, Aleix Garcia, Jason Denayer, Brahim Diaz, Marlos Moreno, Paolo Fernandes and Patrick Roberts. Denayer, Diaz and Roberts are currently on the City US tour.

Not sure if they're ready to play but Marca reported yesterday that Douglas Luiz, Maffeo, Garcia and Moreno are training with them.

They also reckon that Caceido could join.

The Spanish league fixtures have appeared on the web page since I posted the link 90 minutes ago.

Some early major games are (subject to changes around the weekend days):

Atlético Madrid (H), 19 August
Sevilla (H), 16 September
Barca (H), 23 September
Villareal (H), 14 October
Real Madrid (H), 28 October

I'm looking forward to seeing how our lads perform in these games.
