Kaka actually said the biggest mistake he made in his career was not signing for us. Personally, I think we dodged one in his case.

In Guardiola's latest press-conference he intimated that we are actually in for this guy, just not at the prices being quoted.

Indeed, the piece I saw said he was worried about getting any game time over Tranny, Bale, and Benzema, although it now looks like they're trying to unload Benzema.
It also said that Pep had guaranteed him game time.
