Dave The Shave

Does anyone know, has David Silva joined this 'Brave The Shave' thing for cancer? Has he got relatives/friends who've had cancer?

It has been portrayed in the media as a tribute to Pep Guardiola but Big Dave's limited baldness is different from Guadiola's profound baldness. Guardiola has lost hair from the middle of his forehead back whereas Dave is showing a typical widow's peak, and a shaven head with that recession just looks ...weird. Doesn't suit him at all. Bad style. Very bad. And he doesn't look half the player he was with his mop of dark hair. I may have to change my favourite player.

I think he's going bald.

Just hope he hasn't lost his powers.

You think it could be a Samson thing? I must admit, I don't have the same confidence in his abilities when I see him with the ball now - I'm thinking Fernando or Zaba.

Better to be Dave the shave than... Colin the comb over...

Our lad mistook him for Zaba yesterday until remembered he was playing for the hammers...

Oh and somebody should tell him unless he can grow a full beard, not to bother.

after a neat move , he picked out Kun ok for his goal. Missed whether he had had a manicure though.

It's clearly an indication he's moving further back in midfield if he's now as bald as the rest of the buggers.

For fuck sake will you lot behave yourselves. You would have to cut his whole head off to reduce his footballing prowess. Never mind his hair.

It could actually improve his footballing abilities even more than at present - and that's awesome enough in itself..

It lowers his centre of gravity to a greater extent and it cuts down wind resistance; two factors which will bring further benefits. Moreover, his hair won't be in his eyes so his footballing vision will be enhanced.

He's going to be completely unstoppable this season.

All joking aside , he was easy on the eye to pick out with his mop of hair. With all those shaved heads in midfield it becomes difficult to pick him out for that raking tackle from behind .

Oddly enough. The same thing crossed my mind.
Might not be a bad thing.....even if he does look like Stephen Ireland.
