Nice one, CM, thanks. I hope you are well, mate.
I like this pair of comments:
don’t think Man City will want to over extend themselves in the first game against lowly opposition, so once they have a one goal advantage I think they will park the bus and save themselves for the next game.
That’s man united that parks the bus…….not City.

can't help but wish them the best...... not in this game obviously, hope we send a terrifying message to the rest of the league in this match.
But afterwards, all the best to them.

Cheers. Reading your team sheet, I thought Dunk Bong was one player, disappointed when I found it wasn't!

Hope the Brighton players do a collective rendition of "I ran(away from the ball)"!
Nice one CM.
Thought they would be a little more upbeat.

Me too. As probably now the nearest PL team, I'd like them to stay in the PL. Unfortuantely couldn't get tickets for this (being the first game of the season) except as youths or OAPs. Next year, hopefully.

A superb read, thanks very much mate.
Love the can’tfuckingwaitometer, mine's pretty much off the scale. If we don't win the league this season maybe we never will!

Fleeting visit or sticking around KK?

Mate. I thought I was gonna die before we won the league again. I won't moan too much for another 30 years, by when I'll be 86

Same here mate, never thought I'd see the day! Which made it even better when it happend!
If we don't do it with this squad, something has gone very wrong.

The result later today will wholly revolve around attitude. If we take them lightly, which I don't see happening, and they remain caught up in a promotion inspired bubble, they could make it very difficult for us.
On the other hand, an early City goal could rip their hearts out and leave them chasing the shadows of players they could have only dreamt about sharing the pitch with 12 months ago.
If I was an Albion fan tomorrow, I would be living in hope but prepared to sit back and enjoy the sheer brilliance of City's superstars.
