All the rags have been doing this half is that slow sideways possession play.

Only got it on the background but seemed like they took pretty much all of their chances

Something we dont do - our fuckign forwards need to understand that we get more chances to score than any other fuckign team so the conversion rate should be sky high.

That should be drilled into them.

The problem is the Rags look setup to be able to beat anybody outside the top 6.
Then for the top 6 Mo will park the bus and go for draws or one lucky counter attack to win.
Playing dog shit football all the way through. But there are no prizes for style.
That all adds up to a big points total - they are contenders this year - no doubt about it.

Swansea missed two sitters that just needed a touch to get them over the line. The first two they conceded (which pretty much settled it) were avoidable. Pogba free header seven yards out hit the bar and bounced down. Keeper was on the deck and defender tried to shield the ball back to him and Bailly just poked it over the line. For the second if you leave Lukaku unmarked ten yards out you're asking for trouble. Swansea went even shitter after the second went in.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

They've played two shit teams that can't pass. They've punished both for losing the ball often and in stupid positions.

They've won both games convincingly and put away their chances clinically.

They've done what they had to now we have to keep doing what we have to.
We need to be clinical, because we seem to have everything else.

Wait until we get to midweek CL football and we'll judge how well we're all doing.

They have had two convincing wins albeit against weak opponents. Their fans can be justifiably optimistic. But it is August, there is plenty of time for another cigar before dressing for dinner.

Indeed they do have a lot to be excited about going on their first two games (typed through gritted teeth), Facebook has been uncharacteristically quiet, they're normally out in droves by the time they are 2 up, but not one peep from them since the season started.

As you say, a long way to go yet......

Sadly, expensive Stoke will be right up there this year.

The Rags should be there or abouts with money they have spent on that squad. The question is, can they handle the better teams?

Looking at their opening fixtures, they've got a fairly easy start which will allow them momentum with their only real test coming in mid-October when they go to the Dippers. Even that isn't looking too daunting at the moment, not for the 'Biggest' game in the world, ever!
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Very nice goal there Jese from Berahino...

could be a dangerous combo for Stoke.

Arsenal fans must be going insane right now.

I wonder maybe if it is related to Alexis. They seem much worse than they even should be.

No idea why Wenger won't play him. ;)
