It's an age-old cliche that Manchester United fans don't actually live in Manchester, but is it true?
We've teamed up with Google Trends to find out just how localised the support base of all 20 Premier League clubs actually is.
Each of the following maps measures the intensity of search traffic for each club in thousands of towns and cities across the UK on one day at the start of August. We're using this as a proxy for 'support'.
The geographical patterns that emerge show whether support for a given club is widespread or is concentrated into small areas.

I saw this a while back. Kinda dodgy info gathering from google though, most of them are slightly lighter/darker versions of each other.
