Never heard of the lad, but at the moment I welcome anything resembling a left back with open arms. Hell, I'd volunteer myself if I weren't right footed.

For a guy with 30 la Liga games under his belt that no one has heard of!

I for one can see this and a lot of other transfers, both for ourselves and the wider market ending in tears. Forests left back for example would likely do just as good as a job and for a fraction of the cost.

His agent isnt a certain relation to Pep is he?

We should have just blocked kolorovs move away, amazing when clubs dont want to sell to us even though the player wants to leave we dont get the player bit when one of ours wants to leave that we need we pract gove them away and leave ourselves in a huge hole. Somethings not right when we are this desperate for a left back. Kolorov would have been more than adequate as back up left back and prob centre half. Actually left in a back three against lesser teams he would have been perfect.

Alternatively we should have nipped in dront of the dippers for robertson, i mean 8m we are dropping that on kids who will never play first team.

Gist of it here...

Espanyol and City maintain unofficial contacts for Aaron Martín

The interest of the English club by Aaron Martin is serious and there are contacts between the clubs

By David Gerbolés Pérez - August 26, 2017
Yesterday the CEO of Espanyol denied that there was an official offer from Manchester City by Aarón Martín, and it is true, but what if it is true is that the City in a conversation between both sports directions slipped to the figure of 20 million euros for the Canterano, Espanyol was open to negotiate the player's exit.

The way of negotiating Manchester City
Today SPORT colleagues inform us that this is the usual practice of the City when negotiating the signing of a player, first they try to the club owner, they try the figure and then they launch an official offer. In Espanyol are waiting for the same, as confirmed yesterday Ramon Robert. The interest of the City by the canterano is firm, and the official offer is expected next week.

Espanyol is ready to negotiate the departure of Aaron
In the club they welcome the first informal offer that City made for the player, but they want to overcome the barrier of 20 million euros and thus approach the clause of the player, which we remember this year is 30 million Euros.

In the club they are aware that with the money of Aaron they could reinforce very well the staff and satisfy to a large extent the exigencies of Quique Sánchez Flowers.

I don't know anything about this guy but if he signs he's brilliant. And a left-back would be nice.
