Apologies a little late, I was so incensed by the antics of Dean, under instruction from the PL, that I had to walk away after we scored.

Anyway, a win it was against 15 men but who do you think excelled?

Very difficult today as we flattered to deceive.
For me it was between Fern and Ederson. I plumped for the latter. If Defoe had scored that 2-0, I doubt that we would have been able to get back into the game.

I'm going for Kompany. His passing and control of the game has been immense.

Seeing as there is no option for Dean I gave it to Kevin.

Gab Jesus for me . Mendy looks a legend in the making , Bernado Silva once fully fit absolute world class .

I thought both our wingbacks were great today, been a long, long while since I can recall having two like that playing for us. Mendy's goal line cross/pass to Danilo near the end actually had me chuckling ... DeBruyne was solid as ever. In the main I don't think anyone really played to their potential/usual standard but on the plus side nobody played like dogshyte (ref aside)

I went for Ederson for the 1st 97 minutes

Went for Sterling for no other reason than he got the winner. Oh, and he was harshly treated by yet another shit, bent-as-fuck referee. Then again, with that 2nd reason any of them would qualify as motm!!!

Several were good in parts, very few shone throughout.

Good to see a City goalkeeper getting a few votes; makes a nice change from last season.

I loved what Danilo and mendy brought to the side so went with Danilo. He's gonna get some goals and assists for us this season.

Overall we were poor, ponderous and slow outside a 20 min spell. Peps books suggest he went to Germany and adjusted style based on the league and worked at a high tempo to match what he saw. I'm yet to be convinced he's found that balance in England. Hoping it's close:
