Turgid stuff from England. Either playing cautiously so as not to concede the early goal, or trying to bore Malta into defeat.

The commentators are so forgiving to most England players, with the notable exception of Sterling. They seem happy enough to criticise him.

On Sterling.... If that had been Rashford, he'd have scored. Twats

Kane and Ali have had stinkers. No mention of that from that prick Hoddle.

In other news kelechi scored for Nigeria

I think this is possibly one of the worst England teams I have watched. I mean Livermore and Henderson (C)? Really?

What a pile.of shit this is.

Sterling off, rag replacement - Crimson Clive & Hen Noddle dribbling their poison over him all through the first half continued by family man at half time.

He was on Sterling's back though "Should have shot first touch" but Kane's and Alli's truly woeful efforts went without comment.

Anyway, Sterling off for Rashford. Hope Sterling isn't injured, hope Rashford takes some serious kicking now.

Secretly, yes, perhaps. I'm only concerned that our players escape injury against this team of hackers. England not going to corrupt, racist, violent Russia next year would be something to celebrate.

Thought I'd stay out of the thread to see how we commented it. Hoddle has been very forgiving for anything southern but then threw Ox under the bus (and Raheem) to save Alli.

We were a absolute shite in the first half with no real determination to take risk. We walked the ball, allowing Malta to get bodies behind and the odd dodgy tackle in. We're not that better this half, even though they're starting to blow, and it reminds me of our games where they're only intent is to get a 0-0.

I would hope so. Shrek has gone and arrested, why not support your national team with 2+1 City players?
