I always expect the worst in this game.
Not overly confident at the moment. Hoping for a big performance fro us though.

I don't worry about Scouse 2, i only worry about the officials. Who is a red card candidate this weekend , i wonder . David Silva ? KdB, for just being there ?

I think they'll try and get at Vinny because he is the key man. The refs I mean.

Surely they would not have the blatant audacity to send a city player off three games in a row?
Surely that is just a tad too obvious, isn't it? Although they are not that subtle about it anymore so maybe.
It probably would be some form of record, who's the last team to have players sent off three games in a row.
Assuming no corruption and cheating this weekend, big assumption, I have an ambivalent feeling about this one. Arsenal made them look really good and we will improve game by game, but this one might be two games too early...

I really don't think subtlety comes into it this year.
the prediction thread should have a first to be sent off vote as well as first to score.
If Fern doesn't go, my money is on Vinny, for this match and we will be stitched up one way or the other. that's my prediction.

Regardless of the officials, this is usually a game the majority of our players fail to turn up for and which they significantly underperform in.
We need to set a marker down early in the title race and win this.
Obviously Pep's tactics will be anyone's guess.

This.
We really need to beat these cunts or else we will never hear the end of it.

i worry about the Liverpool front 3 tearing through the weak-looking defense. the refs are the last thing on my mind.

Shirley we all know what Pep's tactics will be given how inflexible he is.

Why would they give a singular shit, it'll go unnoted.
I hope we cane these cunts, utterly despise them.

Our new fullbacks should help a great deal in that regard. While Mane & Salah would have torn Zabba & Kolarov a new arsehole, Walker & Mendy can match them for pace any day. Will be more down to individuals not making stupid mistakes (such as Stones or Kompany losing the ball when too many people are up field).
Liverpool's defense isn't great and arsenal made them look much better than they really are. If we move the ball with purpose and are moving off the ball, they have much more to worry about than us.
The scouse will probably employ the same tactics as last week. Sit in and look for a fast counter. So like I said, it's up to us to be smart in possession. Put them under pressure, rather than just passing it from side to side, and don't lose the ball around the 1/2 way line to allow them to break forward at pace.

I wonder if Pep will play a 'conventional' back four, or persist with his back three approach ??
Even in a back four, our two full backs will still be going forward for all they're worth, so it might make more sense to play with a three.
With regard to the next City player to be sent off, why are we only talking in single terms; we could easily finish with only nine men ?? The PiGMOB lackey's motto, in this game, might be that 'nothing succeeds like excess'.

Traditional back four against Bournemouth and it was our poorest performance from the opening three games, food for thought for Pep.

Not limiting it MC. You only get points for the first sent off prediction though.
