One thing I noticed, twice. The TV coverge was so busy showing the replay of a Liverpool attack that they missed Ederson's long kick out and our attempt on goal. I'll laugh when they miss it and we score!

BBC website saying it was the "biggest win over Liverpool since 1937" and in their tacky 'match stats' that "Manchester City netted 5+ goals in a game versus Liverpool for the first time since March 1937 (5-1)".

So, basically, this was the biggest ever win against those scouse cunts, no?

We beat them 1-6 in 1929 and 6-0 in 1935

A sending off automatically means a total hammering.

Like when we went one nil down and lost a player around half time....

Eh, forget that.

Yep.

Also have to say that, although I have defended him resolutely, Otamendi was absolutely shocking

Well done CPB ......its called the match thread for a reason , that's when (stay with me ) fans vent their anger as the match is being played..its part and parcel of the match day experience.
Its all fine and well coming on here after the match has been played to comment on comments made during the match (are you still with me ? ) but you have to understand that comments, rants , etc etc are made in the heat of the moment.

In hindsight (wonderful hindsight)...................yes , it was a clever move to take him off.

My mate tells me they left due to being worried about getting a battering outside by City fans ,due to some chants when Ederson was battered.

On your TV could you hear the classless twats booing Ederson whilst he was down? Fucking scum.

Our respsonse: Always the victims, it's never your fault

They did the same at Anfield to Yaya a few seasons ago, horrible bastards

What do you expect from people who nicked the bikes from a charity bike ride for Hillsborough parked outside Anfield?

The build-up reminded me beforehand of the game at OT.

I am worried.

Scouse2 targeted the left side and it worked.
Scouse1 did the same today and it was only a matter of time until that worked.
Otter (even with Vinny) is the soft center and the better teams will have the skill to exploit the weakness.

What is worrying is that we did not adapt to eliminate the risk after the scouse2 game.
A lesson not learned.

If this is not sorted it will cost us in the PL and CL.

Would Stones be a better bet there? Otter gets exposed for pace in this role, swap the pair of them maybe? I dunno but I share your concern.

Was suprised in the ground that he took Jesus off when he was on 2 goals, but considering he'd just come back from playing for Brazil and with another game on Wednesday, you can see why he made changes. Suspect another would have got a rest if Ederson had manned up and stayed on the pitch. You have to be pretty injured as a keeper to not play on for us.
