By the way, why was Salah taken off at halftime? Did he get a knock? If not that's a criminally stupid decision by Klopp.

Klopp pulled the plug at 2-0.
His substitutions were more about Wednesday than the match he was still involved in.

Klopp getting hammered by Mirror head sports writer and Liverpool fan Andy Dunn in todays Sunday Mirror , Dunn states these exact points you have made noolie . He also goes on to say City are a "stellar" football team !

LOL!
had a vision of Irma approaching here, when I saw that post last night... world ain't no money enough to pay off a pissed Carl.

btw, Id be around Lime st., end of this week, trying to save ass to a spastic greek owner, caught in a freak kinda sharia sizure on saudi waters.
and granting my socialist nurse wont hopefully go on strike at weekend, I should be able to attend game at Vicarage rd. on saturday.
Should :P "my sockpuppet" ;) happens to be around as well, Id be delighted to share a curry on friday night and/or a
few pints on matchday.
[AM SORRY, Carl, couldn't resist! is too much fun...]

same, obviously, apply to any southern Blue, man enough to withstand PMed instractions.

P.S.
on topic note:
thinking of the spin, all out to make excuses for Klopperty and the mourners, I woke up with a shiver of Typical City: guess it's going to be an uphill field at Anfield, with the 4 black men all out in Keagan style.

Great game management by City. David Silva was almost sat in a directors chair moving the artists around.

The dippers were running dizzy & breathing through their arses. A thing of beauty to behold

Feck em.

The historical term used to be "square heads", when applied to our militaristic Germanic cousins.

Perhaps we could fuse both sets of terms together for optimum effect PD ?? ;) ;)

Heard a few interviews from him after the game and it sounded like the guy was literally in shock.
He was just rambling and didn't know what day it was.

I think Klopp would be an improvement on Wenger at Arsenal but not a significant one. He's still 'Mr Runner Up'.

While it was a massive coup for Liverpool to actually acquire his services, they won't get a better chance to win the league than they did under Rodgers a few years back.

I know that Klopp is lauded, by the media, as an absolute genius but I can't fathom what he could possibly see in Oxtail-Chamberpot.

Can you offer any insight IW ??

I can't see what he sees in him either. He likens himself to a teenage mutant ninja turtle, he's more like Splinter, the rat bastard.

Wenger, for all.his flaws, tried to shoehorn him into the team for the first three games. He's disruptive and disloyal. There was a game last season (forgive me, i can't remember the one) where he's stamping his feet having a temper tantrum like a two year old toddler (hows that for alliteration?!) mid game.

As for the main question, about what Klopp could see in him, i honestly dont know. Given that he's conceded as many goals in the last 2 games as he has scored in his entire league career suggests to me that it wasnt a bad bit of business

Watch on youtube.com

I think the nasty little rag might be on lager, probably Tennents bearing in mind his Dundonian origins
