I don't particularly like him as a footballer even though the stats clearly indicate he's better than most.

Thinking of getting him in my fantasy football team, only sure way of him coming off this run of form he's on.

Not sure why i don't like him, think it's because I could see him playing for the Rag's in the future. I wish he'd stop talking through his nose, it's a case of having to change the channel every time he does an interview.

Haha.

Each to their own JC, but Kane's stats can't be ignored. He clearly divides opinion on his worthiness and the supposed "world class" tag that is being bandied about. As it goes, earlier in thread I noted I was of the opinion he isn't in that bracket. But the lad scores goals and for a striker that's the only currency in circulation for me

Just to put it out there. Would you want him in our team if we didn't had Sergio?

Don't think he's a good enough footballer PP. incredible goalscorer but as Pep said about Aguero last year, it's about more than just goals.

Can you elaborate?

I had the same opinion, that he is more of a player that fits where the entire team works for him, instead of him working for the benefit of the squad. But in the past year, I saw him coming back very deep to help his mates. I think he can fit in a team like Chelsea, Bayern, Real or filth, but not in one like ours or Barcelona that have fantastic pace and reaction speed.

You said it Yourself, Spiderman: here, he would be another Barca's Zlatancunt.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

there must be some truth, then!

Sunday Suppository agree with you anyway NB, he beats Morata and Lukaku 3-0 as the best PL striker -
Aguero not even in the frame

That is ridiculous. But it's also a separate point. Whether another player is rated or not shouldn't have a bearing on another's.

Kun is the best PL striker currently and over the last five years. But that isn't to say other strikers are decent

For me, he is a very good finisher but he is not world class and never will be. Spurs are completely set up to serve him. He doesn't have to drop off and get involved in the build up play and that suits spurs but with that set up they will never be that top level team that they should be aspiring to be.

His limitations are visible in every game. Even yesterday just before half time kane received the ball down the right wing. Spurs had a player bursting through the middle. It was a relatively simple pass through but kane hit the first defender.

Also when he receives the ball within 30 yards of the goal, he never looks up and always tries to work the shot with a low percentage strike rate. It's fine against the weaker teams but he won't get them 6-7 opportunities against the top pl and European teams

The last year or so his goals record has been comparable to Messi and Ronaldo with no signs indicating it’s merely a purple patch. Definitely world class.

He was poor in the Euros, as were many England players. Why Hodgson had him taking set pieces I have no idea but he's playing much better now, and if you watch the goals he is scoring they are pretty impressive.

He's too one dimensional to be world class for me. Tottingham would score a lot more if he wasn't so greedy. He's managed an entire twelve assists in a hundred and twenty odd games. He shoots on sight even when there's a better option, or an easy pass on for somebody else. Obviously it's his job to put the ball in the back of the net, but his goals per game is exactly the same as Sergio's, and Sergio has averaged twice as many assists. If we're talking world class premier league strikers, does he compare to Henry, Sergio, Van Persie at Arsenal or Suarez? I don't reckon so. And he breathes through his mouth.
