Noticeably he had the speed to recover though. Some of his defending has been a little stiff alright. Gets turned. Usually so far up the pitch that the opposition are still miles from goal.

Like I wrote in the match day thread, having fullbacks with pace makes such a huge difference and allows us to play with a high line. Had we played like we did today, but with Zaba and Clichy, we would have been one or two down before we scored bout first goal.
