Didn't see the games and only know the scorers but Liverpool and Spuds both did very well last night. Beating anyone 7-0 away and drawing at Real are good results, irrespective of opposition, performance or luck. Still hope Spuds finish 2nd and Liverpool 3rd though!

Carrying on from Saturday’s game of the season, just got this on RTÉ, watching Benfica v United.

‘Well we said before the game that there have been fantastic encounters between these two teams in the past, with a history of fabulous players on both sides,
and Didi (Hamman), this isn’t one of them’

They then go on to slate the United players, calling it dreadful stuff.

0-0 at halftime.
