In fairness to him he sounds more angry with his team than the ref.
Although he did call the penalty a scandal.

Apologies, I like to start a new thread each week but have been very busy since being back building a Japanese Garden for a friend in need. I'm missing loads of footie as well but as soon as I get back to a normal routine, business will be resumed.

Alternatively, you could both dive in and start it early ;-)

Is it a 'dry' Japanese Garden Beefy, with rocks, pebbles and sand (+plants), or does it have water in it as well ??

That's the biggest part mate, a stream from the top on about a 40 degree gradient , flowing down and around to an extremely large (5.5 m x 3.2 m) that will hold a load of koi carp. The post and decking around the pond is enormous and because that's on about a 20 degree angle it was a proper graft to get the construction together. Nearly done though and looking the dogs, so soon can get back to the real stuff at weekends, the football ;-)

Yes, sorry for your pain.

People continued to post to the thread during the midweek UEFA games after 23-25 September so I added the " ...and on forever?" and they carried on again the following weekend (the weekend of our Chelsea game), and now this weekend... As Beefy said, anyone can start a thread. I was tempted to start the matchday thread yesterday and post the pre-match pressers but the last time I did that it was the Everton game, so I decided to hold off.

Ha ha ha, I'll have to get some midweek when I'm next over there. It's looking good though.

Your mate'll need a decent filtration system to keep koi, Beef.

Spot on. His presence in professional football diminishes football every passing day. This season's title race could genuinely come to down to good versus evil. If that shower of shit win playing that type of football we'll all feel dirty.

Yes mate, the system itself is costing a couple of grand as the water pump has to raise the water approx 10 metres back up the hill, via various smaller ponds. It's a big job and one that he thought he could do himself. He's alright at the manual stuff but technically, not that good.

It's looking the part now though, can't wait to see it finished and then back to the footie ;-)
