Mendy can attack but has no idea how to defend. Also Pep doesn’t like playing Sane with him.
Delph in the side means Sane should be a regular starter.
This is much better for the side overall.

He can now do what he's been doing for the last year....focus on the social web. Great paid job if you can get it.
We won without the injury prone ''funny man'' in a record breaking year and it now stops PeP from taking Sane out of the team when he played at left back.
Im not bothered, one fuckign iota, that hes injured.
Come on Sane !!!...lets do what we did last year with you Raheem and Sergio !!!!

it’s not thick, it’s pure arrogance.
just them parking on double yellows because they don’t give a fuck about the £60 fines.
i like how the drink drive fines are based on earnings - should apply to all offences.

I see hes on the back pages of the tabloids at the boxing match holding the belts from Joshua.
This guy is really getting on my fuckign nerves...we are basically playing this permanently injured player to be a clown and social media whore.
Is it an abnormal expectation to expect a player that has a metatarsal injury to stay away from crowds with his kind of fucking injury and focus on getting better ?
And to brag about trophies he won ?...that is as laughable as it gets.

The jury is well and truly out for me on Mendy. When he plays he looks great going forward but is kind of one dimensional and him and Sane have not gelled on the left side which actually is to the detriment of the team. He doesn’t cover himself in glory defensively either. Add that he is either very unlucky with injuries or a sick note, then a new left back, I imagine, is very much on the radar of Txiki.
Really hope he comes good as I do think overall he has great attributes, it’s just we’ve not seen the best of him yet and I’m not convinced we will do

It's getting a bit tiresome now. Not writing him off one bit by any strech, however for me this man still has a lot to prove on the field and the time for that is now.
I would prefer if he concentrated on football in the real world rather than in the social media one.

I’ve looked back through the thread and refer to my opinion on pages 14-15.
I’ve not changed my mind.
He has a lot to do and should get his head down and work on improving the football side of things.
I’m not sure he’ll ever be fully fit, but I really would prefer to see him cut the social media crap and work on his game.

Well hes fuckign ignoring PePs request to tone it down on SM isn't he ! lets see how this pans out but I reckon PeP is getting really pissed off with his constant injuries and I hope he drops him when he is fit..he can sit on the bench for weeks on end .
We have proven we dont need him , infact , its worse when hes in the side IMO, sane aside , he cannot defend for toffee.

The problem is you wouldn't get very much for him if you sold him because of his injury record. Despite all the trophies his teammates have won for him.
