Does anyone know any details of Mendy's ACL injury in 2015/16 where he missed 13 matches for Marseilles?

"In the week following England's defeat in Rotterdam, the FA were shocked to discover not only that they would have to sell the family silver (the FA Cup) to make up for the financial cost of World Cup failure, but also that nobody was queuing up to take over from Taylor. For Swales, it must have been a familiar situation. Few managers with reputations to protect want to cross his threshold at Maine Road either."

always finely timed as only few would.
more convinced than ever about my unnoticed plea for that DoF seat. ;)

Manchester City midfielder Fabian Delph, speaking to BT Sport:

"The win is huge. We knew coming into the game it was our toughest of the season but we had a game plan and we stuck to it.

"The plan was to stick with them on the counter. I lost Willian a few times but I think we did the job to a tee.

"That performance there was for one of our teammates, Benjamin Mendy. He left us a message before the game and we knew we had to do it for him. If you're watching, that's for you big man.

"It sends out a massive message. We needed to come out on top today. There's a togetherness in the team and you could see that on the pitch today."

The boys are right behind him it seems

It can't be long - I'm surprised there haven't been any yet (unless I've missed them - anyone spotted any?)
In fact if the club had half a clue they'd be on sale in City colours already.

I'm loving this shark thing.

Hope it becomes as big with the fans on match day as I think it will.
They've got Gill, pulling strings in Uefa. They've got the Media creaming their pants all over them and haven't twigged that you actually need a football team.

I'm a bit meh! in regard to the Shark team malarkey. It feels a little bit too contrived.
