I find it a bit annoying the way he conducts himself in an attention seeking manner. Almost flaunting.
Compare that childish carry on to the pure class of Silva, Vinny, Fern, Kevin etc etc.
Is he not embarrassed?

Oh yes and he could tell the world it was all because of him.

.
Let him, what does it matter?

Because we take the piss out of Pogba for acting the way Mendy does. Can't blast one person then suck Mendy's huge pipe.

I must say I didn't know he smoked the pipe.

Why is it that me not having an issue with it equates to me sucking his pipe? For me the jury is still out on him, he still has to prove himself, hopefully he'll do just that when he returns but I'm not going to base my opinion on him as a player on what happens off the pitch.

Sooner he gets fit enough to be part of the squad and first team, the better. LB is an area of weakness for us and he will help solidify that. Plus he offers a lot more going forward than his replacements.

He cant defend though ! But when he gets forward we don't have to defend that much . Think we are a better balanced team when he plays though .

Agree

Heard much the same from other clubs fans. They are scared stiff when he's playing

The question for any player who is up for selection is, is he a better fit for the team taking into consideration the opposition, the venue, the actual match, upcoming matches and so on, than someone else who can play in that position?

Mendy is the better fit over both Delph and Zinchenko

Are we forgetting his performance against spurs?

It wasn't that long ago his head was being called for by some.

The bit I don’t like most of all though that it’s usually at the expense of Sane in the team, when he has been played.

Mahrez gets picked and Sterling gets switched. At least that’s how I remember it.

If his defensive duties can’t be trusted or he’s occupying Sane’s spot then I’d prefer another option.

He was dreadful that night but I also remember v the scousers at Anfield he was pretty good and showed good discipline. If Pep likes him he'll do for me.

His statistics at our club:

This season:

3-1 vs Filth
6-1 vs Soton
1-0 vs Spurs
3-0 vs Shakhtar
5-0 vs Burnley
0-0 vs Criminals
2-1 vs Newcastle
1-1 vs Wolves
6-1 vs Huddersfield
2-0 vs Arsenal
2-0 vs Chelsea

11 games: 9 wins and 2 draws 0 defeats = only 5 goals conceided

Last season:

3-1 vs Brighton
0-0 vs Huddersfield
5-0 vs Swansea
5-0 vs Palace
6-0 vs Watford
4-0 vs Feyenoord
5-0 vs Criminals
2-1 vs Bournemouth

8 games: 7 wins 1 draw 0 defeats. 2 Goals conceided.

Really solid statistics with him playing for us, so just imagine how good we could had been with him fit. No one managed to beat us when he played and we only allowed 7 goals in.

The question is who is to blame? His injury record was almost clean at OM and Monaco. It's the training regime he has? Was he rushed in? The fitness coach works wrong with him? His lifestyle? As soon as we solve this, we will be so much better, however, I think if he will have another injury this season, he will be sold and we will remain with that "what if" syndrome.

No idea, did not check that, I was just looking only at his record, but could had been yes.
For example, last season Stones and Otter were playing also as a pair, with Vinnie injured. Mangala was appearing from time to time. And Mendy played with those two until he got injured with Palace.

He has a great skill of passing a ball he receives without having to control it first. This helps our forward momentum. It was noticeable against The Rags, in particular.
