Mendy's actually played more minutes in the league then Kev, Zinch, Delph, or Danilo this season. Don't know what that adds to the discussion, but it certainly surprised me

Mario was class. He did it his way and was (still is) naturally mad, entertaining and lovable.
Mendy just acts the clown and is nowhere near Mario's level of genius. Nowhere near.

The finish vs the rags then "Why Always Me" was genius. As you said, Mendy isn't in the same league as Mad Mario:

Wasn't Pep front and centre in the row at Wigan last season?

Yes, down the tunnel outside the changing rooms. So my comment was correct...

Your comment insinuates that Pep would run from the fight, I take it I read it wrong.

Bobby was the first opposition manager in years to stand up to Fergie.

He wasn't afraid of his status in the game and never went overboard in his praise for him like so many other managers did.

He also always called him Fergie instead of 'Sir Alex'.

That photo above captures it all perfectly.

I loved that. Didn't try and get up the arse of the rags like some of our managers have in the past and present.

Football wise, Pep all day.
Personality wise, Bob or the wooden spoon over Pep.
