Pep became the quickest Manager to get to 150 wins in the Prem, doing it in 204 games. Jose is behind him at 231 games with Slur 3rd at 247 games.

Equalled the top flight record of 17 away wins in a calendar year. Spurs in 1960 were the other team

We now have a club record of 31 top flight wins in a calendar year and are just one behind the overall record of 32 set by Chelsea in 2005

That goal from Foden was the 500th scored under Pep in the PL in just 207 games. Beats the record set previously by Klopp and dippers who did it in 234 games.

Another record

There’ll be a lot of candles burning in Liverpool tonight ;-)

And if we hold on and scrape another win(   ) we will equal the dippers calendar year record of 33 top flight wins. They did it in 1982 when of course the league was 42 games so they played more games. And I’m sure we will then surpass it before the year is out. Relentless

Does that mean we’ve beat it or is it another game?

We equalled it tonight. Got a few more games now to beat it which I’m sure we will do. Beat the PL record of 32 set by Chelsea in 2005 though

We now hold the record outright for top flight wins in a calendar year with 34

And I’m sure the commentator on the game today mentioned we had scored the most PL goals in a calendar year with 106 before he was probably told in his earpiece to keep quiet

Still two more games to go this year as well. What a team.

Notice how the narrative of whether we are the best PL side in history has gone very quiet? It now appears to be taken as read we are the best there has been.

Also, we have broke the top flight record of away wins in a calendar year with 18.

It might be a record but it wasn’t one of the best at 4-3 ;-)
