and here!

Oh dear oh dear .

Each new season brings with it new opportunities, new options and new team constellations.

Given that we all would like City to win the league again this season.

It is not necessary to get 100 points . it is only necessary to have one more point or a better goal difference than the team in second place.

Don't forget these points when crapping on about the 100 point mark.

100 points will not be needed to win the league this season.

crikey, i had you down as a being tad sharper than moron64

Well you certainly aren't coming over as being bright , simply abusive and full of insults when people attempt to put some rational thought into pointless information and statistics you deem somehow relevant to share here.

We still are involved in four competitions , scouse in three. A very heavy program and schedule ahead and you think it is relevant to crap on about 100 points and attaining it . ! really ? it does not matter. Bettering the opposition by just one point will do in the PL.

The 100 point total is an interesting one. The first time it's ever been done and some people expect it to be done every season? The fact it took is until added time in the very last game shows just how hard it is to achieve yet certain elements state we need to do it continuously to be regarded as one of the best teams.

And winning back to back league titles, this is another spouted by the Rag hoards. How difficult has it been for teams to retain the title lately or, should I say, since the Rags went backward? We now know that the PL want a different team winning it each season as long as their chosen teams are competing (courtesy of Scudamore, Gill et al). Who's to say that the league isn't designed like that nowadays, especially as many now know that the PL also have their own officials, since splitting from the FA?

10/20 of our conceded have come on set pieces. that 50% rate is the highest of any club in the premier league.
I hate zonal marking.

I hate defenders who don’t defend and put their bodies on the line

Just a reminder that on the day Kun equalled the PL record for the most hat tricks, it’s 6 years since a rag player got one

Ederson finished the match against Schalke with 1 assist and 0 saves. Ederson now has more assists than Ozil, Fred, Keita, and Jorghino this season.

Manchester City's 10-2 aggregate win over Schalke is the biggest ever by an English side in a Champions League knockout tie.

And this may be my favorite stat (posted in the match thread, but it's worth reposting):

Tonight is the seventh time this season that Manchester City have scored six or more goals. More times than Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Bayern Munich combined.
