Great performance, put a big smile on my face, and very reassuring that we can pull out a win vs a good team when everything isn't clicking.

Hats off to Shaktar too. Best team we've played this year

For me Sanè is more frustrating than him. Constantly giving the ball away or making he wrong decision. Doesn't get half the shit raza gets.

Fantastic performances all over the pitch. We will have better results from worse performances than that. Thought Walker was immense tonight. Possibly his best performance tonight?

very good, solid win on a bad day at office in front of the goal.
even more reassuring than a shitload to nil romp, imho
so far in the season, ironically enough, City seem to have the more solid defence in the Premier.

As stressed countless time since his first appearence for City, having a world class keeper is an inestimable wealth.

thanks everyone.
I've very much enjoyed my matchday experience tonight, with so much interesting interaction with my fellow Blues Mate.

For instance it was his pass that opened up the chance that Sterling missed. That would have been a brilliant goal.

Second half was s big improvement and that's all it took to beat these.
I don't think we were anyway near our best tonight and we still won 2-0, missed a penalty (wasn't confident he'd score) and a hatful of sitters.
In previous seasons we would have come unstuck against a Shaktar team that are well able to play. But this team has a look of something more gritty, even when so many are having off nights.

I think the confidence starts at the goalkeeper. The defence trust him and he is lightning off his line. His passing was better than anyone's tonight.
Clean sheets were a rarity last year.
Put away one or two out of a dozen chances on a bad night and you get results.

Lots to be happy with tonight.
Heads don't drop. Raheem keeps making the runs even if he misses first or second time.
Delph was excellent.
Gundogan and Bernardo were very effective substitutions.

I hoe we get our scoring mojo back against Chelsea.
Let's see a Kun hatrick.

Walker had a difficult night. Delph did well on the other flank. Kevin superb. Merlin v good too. Bernardo looked good when he came on. Fernandinho MOM for me. Terrific whole match.

6 goals in 8 games is prolific and puts him amongst the current best in Europe. Yes he fluffs some chances but he never lets it affect his confidence and once again he pops up with a goal after missing a sitter. The pace that him and Sane offer on the break scares the shit out of the opposition and I think Sterling will play on Saturday instead of Jesus
