If it helps, I'm on an all day session stating when myself and 9 friends sit down for a full english breakfast at 8:30am with a guinness and a bottle of port. From there on its a simple mission to get smashed throughout the day then driven home before we get chucked out of the local. Can't fucking wait.

I wonder if we'll see Ederson start in an outfield kit this weekend...

In that case I doubt that he actually broke a rib.
I've missed 6–8 weeks of football with just a bruised rib. You first have about one week when you can only sleep on your back and you think you will die of pain if you laugh or cough. Then there's a week or two when all is fine as long as you don't turn your upper body. Then you feel fit again, go back to play football, get into one shoulder-to-shoulder challenge and you're back on square one ...

That's a valid point, to be fair.

I also don't have a a whole team of doctors at my disposal preventing me from getting back on the pitch too soon and ripping it all up again.

I've bruised ribs plenty of times. Sometimes I've been back within the fortnight. I'm just saying that it can be very fucking annoying injuries that keep bothering you long after you think you're alright again.
