Chelsea - City, MotM

So, who's your man of the match?

Tintin for me, but I thought the whole back line plus Fern were excellent as well. Cudos to Sterling for keep on trying, even if it didn't always work out.

To be honest, though KDB probably just shades it, it is all of them. The entire team pressed and harried and made runs and interceptions and blocks and simply did not let Chelsea play. Nearly 70% possession away at the current champions who have a fantastic home record over the last decade is down to team work.

Well played City. Arguably our best performance so far

Delphino for choosing to stay and fight. He's the bollocks atm. People moaned he was selected for England. Deserves it on this evidence.

For me it was between Delph and Ederson
Went for Ederson.
He gives the defence a whole new dimension, and his distribution is a joy to behold.

Ederson.

It's just great to have a 'proper' goalkeeper in the nets......and the defence kept another clean sheet, which is a nice change from last season.

Said this to my dad before. Makes a massive difference to the defences confidence.

Pep should have been on the list. Too many players were excellent tonight in carrying out the chosen tactics to pick just one. We really look like a team don't we and a class one at that.
