Confirmed it is a Muscle strain and he is returning back to City and is ruled out of both internationals

Out for awhile per Pep. Time for Danilo to step up

He’s looked far from dirt at LB in the cup games he’s played. I’d throw him in see what he’s about.

In fairness Home to Newcastle next game should be able to protect a young player there if selected and then two cup games where he may well have played anyway. Would have serious worries about playing him there v Chelsea or in champions league tho. Looks a tidy player but defensively not really seen what he can do yet

Well, unless we get someone, and I doubt we will, we will get the chance to see what he can and also can't do.

Playing in a back four with three regulars will give us a better idea than seeing him with Mangala and Tosin and Danilo.

There was the two kids at right back and left back that went on loan to the spainish club wasn’t it? Can we not recall one of them?

Zimchenko is an attacking left sided midfielder, not a left back. He doesn't have the pace to play against the big teams as a left back. I'm nhoping LB is our top priority in the window.

Well, Pep managed to transform Delph into Roberto Carlos. In august if you would had said that he was our top left back, I would had laughed my ass off.
