so Liverpool get 142M for Coutinho & Can and basically spend 126M of it on VVD and Keita.
not an equal trade imo but you had to do it given the money Barca were willing to pay and Coutinho's desire to leave.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Big money, dippers need to spend again. Need teams around us improving and rags slipping down the table.

£142m is a lot of money. You could buy 10% of Kev for that.

I know just the man. Versatile, can play in a number of positions, always first on the training ground, hungry for trophies.

It'll cost them £100+ to do that with a ready-made replacement. Poor business for me. Shows the dippers still can't keep hold of world-class players.

That's a very good point. They scoffed at us for spending £48m on Walker too. The dipper loving media really enjoyed that. The Spanish sides can't ever complain about our spending when they spend so much but it's the same in England too. The dippers spend £75m on VVD and £64m on Keita whist the Rags spend £180m on two players. Our record signing is £54m and he,'s the best of.the lot. As for money coming in, we did sell £81m of players in the summer at massive profit. Would be good if sky mentioned that.

I see there’s quite a lot of speculation that Arsenal are close to agreeing to pay 25 million for Jonny Evans.

Excellent. Means we aren't going to. Perhaps the Spanish lad from Sociedad will rock up?
