Understandable with the Jesus issue. A nominal fee in line with the Barkley move.

Arsenal will try to play hard but aren't in a position of strength, especially if Sanchez sticks to his guns and says he'll wait-out for a free in the summer.

I think there is some unfinished business after Arsenal pulled the plug on the deal at the last minute last summer Beefy , City suits wont be messed about this time around I wouldn't think .

I would love to shove it to that french senile cunt and get him free or for 1 pound.

Time for Sanchez to force his departure if he wants to be here and win trophies with us.

I don't think we'll be had-off anymore mate and would pay a nominal fee. However, if they get bolshie I'd say we'd tell Sanchez to hang on for a few months and we'll give it to him instead as a sign-on fee.

I'm sure Akexi can live with it for a few months.

Just spend about £25 million and get Ben Mee back as backup. Makes more sense than anything right now.

Interesting that Liverpool said exactly the same thing about Coutinho leaving as they did about Sterling. NOT!

"It is with great reluctance that we - as a team and club - prepare to say farewell to a good friend, a wonderful person and a fantastic player.

The relationship we have for him means with a heavy heart we wish him well."

Actually I Can't see how Coutinho angling for a move was any different to Sterling wanting to go to a better club.

Maybe Red Scouse are just beginning to accept that they are now a feeder club to the likes of City and Barcelona. They just have a problem accepting that we are up there and they are not.

Pep Guardiola will not give up on trying to tempt Giorgio Chiellini to the Etihad. The Juventus defender is seen as an alternative to Barcelona's Samuel Umtiti, who is also a Manchester City transfer target. (Tuttosport)

whinger is a miserable prick, he'll do all he can to disrupt any deal for Sanchez. I'd prefer to go in with a 20m Plus Bravo offer or tell them to f@ck off and wait until the summer.

Same here . Don't give the gunners a cent. Wait until summer. In the meantime get someone else , possibly a loan , switch Raheem/Alladin central , or go with various false 9 options until Jesus is back on deck. Pep likes situations like this - it gives him a chance to use his imagination.

It's because they cannot accept that they are now a City feeder club, their 'istreee won't allow it. Barca they can understand, us, we are very different and as part of the old league dinosaurs club they'll never accept what we are doing.

And, 2014 didn't help, but how we laughed ;-)
