Linked with Barca’s Umtitti today probably due to his relatively low release clause. I thought he was out injured for awhile

I think Umtiti’s agent is using us to get a better contract from Barca. I notice Balague emphatically saying we’re not interested in Umtiti nor in Iñigo Martínez. Looks like Jonny Evans remains our target as a left footed back up to Stones and Otamendi. Any match where Kompany plays will be a bonus so the Club may hold on to Mangala until the end of the season.

I’d be amazed if Sanchez doesn’t come and soon. With Jesus out for a lengthy period we absolutely have to buy a top class striker. Arsenal will no doubt screw us somewhat on the price. Chelsea are supposedly paying Everton 15 million for Barkley’s six month contract so double that or a little more seems reasonable for Sanchez.

I don’t think that’s right. Arsenal want a replacement in before they sell so this deal will be done well before deadline day if it’s done at all.

agreed. they will push us to the bitter end, even if they do sign a replacement. and in the meantime, they'll continue to play him every f*cking match.

Probably mate.

Either that or we've agreed the move for the summer. He's going to sign something with us for sure.

He had his heart set on it, with every aspect of his deal trashed out.

And who wouldn't want to play up front in this team?

Arsenal want a replacement in before they let Sanchez go.
That might not be easy, what top player wants to go to a bunch of also rans mid season.

Ross Barkley: Chelsea to sign Everton midfielder for £15m.

Always liked him.

I always thought he was a dirty fucker who seemed to have learned the art of tackling from Paul Scholes.
He had/has bag of potential, but he doesn't seem to have any football brains. I think he and Dele Alli will end up at the same level and end up playing for a mid-table team when they hit their "peak-age".
