Has the world gone completely loopy! Chelsea linked with anyone loosely called a striker who is tall!
50M Euros for a player who is nearly 32!
Conte must be wanting a strike partner, of the same ilk, to complement Llorente.
If successful, it would seem the ball will be getting plenty of air time at the Bridge.

Suits Burnley as they don't score goals.

Good god no. I couldn't handle that oaf back in the team.
The heat Big Ed got here was incredible at times. I think he is maybe, after Sergio, the best striker we had in the new era. Better than Tevez. Sometimes terrible touch, but had his moments of briliance.
I don't want him back, but he was class.
That's a post of a legend! Totally agree. I was always a Dzeko advocate and never got the Dzonkey moniker.
He was more creative than some people gave him credit for too. Some of his touches from deep (when he wasn't having one of his off days) were breathtaking.

Edin would fit in perfectly in this team . He would be there more often than kun , make no mistake.

I doubt Chelsea will offer 50 million for a player of Edin’s age. We’ll see.

Seems a few thinking Edin would suit this team.
I don’t see it myself. I liked him but my abiding memory of his first touch is that a wall would control it better.

You know what would happen.
He'd be a hero every tenth game, and slagged mercilessly the rest of the time.
Much like he was in the season before he left.

He wouldn’t do the pressing that is expected now either. Really couldn’t see him suiting us now.

Dzeko was one of the snide cunts that went behind Mancini’s back. Fuck him.

We've scored 70 goals in the League, so far, this season, which is only a nano-score less than three per game. To win the title, perhaps we're going to need an average of, roughly, a further 2 per game, giving us 28 more to score (ideally we'd finish up with a round 100).
Jesus is going to be out for a little while yet and we're forever fearful Sergio may be a thug's tackle away from a lengthy injury so, looking at things critically, are we in a position, in the worst of instances, to score another 30 goals to win the Title ??
In my own opinion, I'm not sure we are and we could only be an instance away from drying up completely if things go awry. On that basis, although it would be nice to get another centre-back and full back, in the January transfer window (even another midfielder), it would seem our first efforts would be that we go all out for a further forward to continue and enhance our firepower potentialities, whomsoever that player might be (excluding Sanchez, of course).
I'd hate our title challenge to falter at the final stages, because we didn't score enough goals, especially considering what we've miraculously achieved so far in that Department, given relatively limited resources.
Surely we won't be 'reduced' to playing with a false number 9, because we failed to strengthen this month and the roof fell in on us ??

The volley he scored at Stamford Bridge was amazing, so is his scoring record. He got the 2nd v QPR so for me he can do know wrong.

Not arguing this, but do we actually know which players it was? Genuinely love to know the lot.
Tracking back is overrated.

Looking at the talk on Fred, this makes me think that this transfer would have been done in the Summer but due to the delph injury they don’t want to bring in a new Left Back with Mendy, Danilo, Delph and Zinchenko and might sooner go for early Fred and then Pep can move Fernandinho our their for the odd important game.
I can see Fred and a centre back coming in with Mangala leaving before the deadline.
After the weeks cup games we could be a week away from a Jesus return which is needed.
