I wonder if Barkley will receive the same amount and level of national abuse, for the way he left Everton (i.e. running down his contract) to sign for Chelsea and their filthy Russian money, in the same way that Sterling was targeted when he joined City ??...........

Coutinho not going on warm weather break. Obviously very close to Barca. Strong Liverpool links to Mahrez to replace him.

presume leicester will want at least £100m for mahrez based on the fee being touted for coutinho and what was paid for a centreback

What's interesting about this window is how a lot of signings aren't down to clubs but down to sponsors.

When I see some of the referee's decisions and official resistance to technology it is logical to question how far corporate influence has penetrated.
