I have a suspicion that Pep's secret plan is to 'coach-up' players for the England team - including this year's World Cup.
Without many people realising he has worked miracles with 4 such players so far.

We have to cut Maguire some slack , he has impressed since going to Leicester . to be fair to him.

However , although i thought he‘s had a good few games , recently Salah at scousepool turned him easily twice to score their goals. So he needs to work on it.

I could see how Chiellini would be an attractive proposition - heck I was hoping Mancini would have signed him all those years ago now - as he's a hard man, can play a bit and can slot in at centre back or left back.

However, he's 33 now and, if we did sign him, how many years in the PL would we get out of him ??

I know there is a lot of paper Bollox but I believe Pep's interest In Alves was genuine. Reportedly he was furious he went to PSG.

He's a Pep-like defender and I've wondered if we'd end up hearing a story of us interested in him.

Could end up having the entire England back line, which wouldn't be the worst thing for England either.
