KDB. Eight of our outfield players either scored or assisted today. Unreal stats.

But as KDB alluded to in his post match interview, it really is the teamwork that is making this side tick.

It's the mentality too - they're believing in themselves and each other - we didn't really have that under Pellegrini and the players at times would end up playing for themselves more than the team, and I'm not criticising Pellegrini for it - he just wasn't that type of manager. I've been noticing the little things this season like Pep bigging up Kev in the media to put a vitual arm around his shoulder, and benching Aguero when he showed signs of not buying into the team side of it (then praising him when he started assisting afterwards).

Should have been a two choice poll.
Tintin + second place.

Lovin Stones, pure class, and seems to be getting better with every game.

nor we had under Mancini, either.
It is, indeed, the start of that next level the Club aimed to.

Watching the game again on Sky, Merlin was real quality yet again but KDB takes MotM because of the mega assists/passing display. How lucky are we to have these two playing together. How lucky are we full stop to be able to watch the whole team play.

Had to vote for The Brown but that was a masterclass defending performance from John.

As KDB should win this at a canter, I went for who I thought was second best. Stones, he was magnificent and in a match where we scored seven and let two in, I wouldn't have thought a central defender would be second best on pitch...yet here we are.

Was at the match. Tintin was fabulous. Lots of great performances; front three all played well Stones was excellent and check out Walker’s sprint and assist for one of the goals. Still Kev’s ability to see and make passes through the eye of a needle and with perfect weight stood out. No defence can deal with them.

I've gone for Yaya. Not really, Kevin. It'd be nice if someone could collate all the votes at the end of the season to see who comes out on top. I think something similar was mooted last season but nothing came of it.

I recently almost had a smoth spare with a respected member because I claimed the evolution of Johnny Domestic this season likewise on a Beckenbauer-esque curve, which is to say how much I am impressed.

but I am not sure if the only game since august where we don't keep the sheet clean (2 flukes, ok, and I remove WBA for mental sanity purpose) is the right one to single our now defending leader out of the Colin Bell apprentice, imho.

he clearly has earned a special mention, as in almost every game so far, tho.

Charming ... what was that about respect?

As a side note Swales no longer exists either and was a major factor in our clubs demise yet you chose that as a moniker, wierd by anyone's standards ... you should have stuck with Mancio, at least you were being honest with why you picked that, him being one of your hero's and all that.

not sure if I am smart enough, this post morning  , to get what You mean abu respect, Lord.

but as for the swap you are surely mistaken: I am arrogant enough to say that was a perfect fit with our history in time.
and You among others, always fast on track to take Your knightly stance on who The Blues are and where We come from, should be well fitted to recognise that mr. Pete will always fly over the heritage of Maine Rd.
so was, yet again, when the con forced Khaldoon's hand and, accordingly I made my bold statement, and so might always happen again and forever... it's also essential part of the tantalizing charme of this one and only FC from Gorton.

Mind, I may be deemed to - PARTLY - revise my staunch opinion, when Josep will have signed the 11th year extension on the gaff.
