True but his angle was far worse than Silva’s. Although given his scoring form for City he probably wouldve missed

When I played football I didn't move from one spot and made everyone else do the running. It's all about playing to your strengths mate.

Not at our mesmerising best today. Not surprising given the midweek effort we put in against in form Napoli.

Still I thought it was another fairly decent performance by us, against a big, Physical, Burnley side that are no mugs. They will take more points of decent sides this season. You can see why they are riding high in the League; they are a well organised side under Dyche. Weather conditions didn’t help either. Still we could have won 5-0.

I am very happy this evening,5 points clears after only 9 Games. If Heineken did starts to league, and Champions league Campaign…….. :D :D :D

Gets even better……….

Maureen going to be under the Microscope for parking that Bus “Yet” again at the Bin dippers, and losing at Huddersfield in the wind, and rain. Remind me what was the RAG master plan for success this season ?, Was it park the Bus on away days at top 6 sides, and lose away to all the lower sides.

Can we just take a minute to appreciate how magnificent Stones has been lately? Fantastic on the ball. Today was one of those games where too many weren't at their best and couldn't unlock anything, but Stones could see and play a cutting forward ball taking out half the opposition and create an attack. Superb stuff. Like Yaya used to do, find a hard, direct but cultured ball into feet 30/40 yards away through a gap he has no right finding.

If he keeps going the way he's going, by the time he retires he should be the benchmark for every aspiring English centre back. Wonderful ball player.

Stones was great, thought Sane was also great most of the time today, far better than he was v Napoli

Stones really is turning in to one hell of a defender under Guardiola.

To be fair, it is hard to unlock a big, physical, well organised, side like Burnley. We have been spoiled recently. Burnley arrived today determined not to spread their legs assume the position for a pounding. Even so, I thought we created some decent chances, and their Keeper stopped the result from becoming embarrassing 3-0 and some fine goal keeping on their part. Not to shabby.

Dare I say, I thought it was a performance of Champions elect. Doing it in the wind and rain against and in form side after an energy sapping mid-week game.
