Lawro & DC predictions v West Brom (A)

Lawro and DC both predicted 3-0 last week and were spot on. This week they are both in sync again.

Lawro, who beat Joe Root last week, takes on two of his England cricket team-mates for this weekend's fixtures - all-rounder Moeen Ali and bowler James Anderson. Burnley fan Anderson predicts a 1-0 win for his side at home to Newcastle on Monday and is hopeful the club can keep hold of manager Sean Dyche, who has been linked with the Everton job.
"What Sean Dyche has done over the last four or five years has been outstanding," he said. "We're just keeping our fingers crossed we can keep hold of him."
Liverpool fan Moen has backed his side to record a 3-1 win over Huddersfield at Anfield.

West Brom are another side on a bad run. They have not won in the league since August, while Manchester City are the last Premier League team to remain unbeaten this season.
I don't see City losing here, although I do not see West Brom boss Tony Pulis letting them run up a cricket score against the Baggies.
The problem for West Brom is they have no chance of getting a result if they are all over the place defensively.
Pulis has built his team on being very solid at the back, but they cannot score or even create many opportunities.

Lawro's prediction: 0-2

Anderson's prediction: 0-3

Moeen's prediction: 0-1

Merson says

Albion set up for a 0-0 draw against Southampton and nearly got it. Jay Rodriguez also missed a couple of good half-chances and they were ultimately undone by probably the goal of the season.

Tony Pulis will always make it difficult and I expect no different against Manchester City. The problem is Pep Guardiola has so much quality to choose from.

Paul predicts: 0-2 (Sky Bet odds 11/2)

I'd settle for the Mooen Ali 0-1 NB.

I worry that we'll, sometime, run out of goalscoring steam and I worry it'll be sooner than later, against a rubbing rag side like WBA.

Hope it's not 0-0 or even a referee inspired victory for Pulis' cloggers.

Hopefully the blank against Wolves has got it out of our system.

Its always feels right when Lawro goes for 2-0, even when he's wrong.
