The rags are no challenge, not even with the kind of help they got from the ref again today. Not a bad result if the chavs turn over the scum next up.
I think the Rags are a challenge for the PL title.
Their blueprint is keeping them in touch with us: a draw or a 1-0 Vs. top 6, beat up and bully everybody else.
So far they are on course: a draw with the Dippers and 1-0 yesterday.
A result like the one against Huddersfield will not happen to them to often.
Also they are missing Pogba and Fellini and they make them better (in a neanderthal type of way).
We will also have our rocky patch where things go against us.
So I don't think there is a lot in it between us and them in terms of points attainable
(in football terms the gap is light years, but there are no trophies for that - ask Newcastle and KK)
There could be a big swing next week - either way.
If it goes our way then we have a significant gap on them but if it does not then they are breathing down our necks.
The odds will be on us moving 7-8 points ahead of them next weekend. Good luck closing that gap playing the mourinho way.
I don't think our game against Arse will be a walk in the park. They seem to have found their feet and we are starting too look a little fatigued. The midweek game against Napoli won't help.
So Arsenal's game on Thursday has been postponed, has it?
