I'd happily see a second string played tonight if it meant winning Sunday. Far more concerned about maintaining momentum in the league.

I'll echo that thought.

Should we be worried?

United take their own ref with them.

Oliver's not too bad, he just comes across as weak. I remember a couple of 5-0s last season with him in charge and as I don't remember him ref'ing us this season, he can't have got in our way.

Saying that, it's usually a close game between us and one 'wrong' decision could decide the game. Let's hope he gets them right, in our favour, of course.

If one of ours gets hacked down from behind on the goal line as he's just about to tap in ( come to think of it, it wouldn't have counted anyway so no harm) I hope spots it.

I hope he doesn't spot any invisible elbows from any of ours either.

Here's hoping.

Pretty sure Silva was the captain at the time as well, wasn't he? It would have been his duty to question the ref on behalf of his team mates.

Mourinho is due to go to Spain to answer tax fraud charges on Friday.

I wonder if he'll attend Court and, if so, if that will affect the Scum's preparations ??

as long as Cunte is wholly applied to undertake his duties... watching Moan handcuffed can only be the icing.

Mourinho has said that, in five years time, no-one at Chelsea will remember him as being Manager for them.

He might be being a little optimistic there; don't think it will take that long.

"welcome to your pgmol interview Mr. Taylor and may I say what a lovely green and gold scarf you're wearing. Now tell me, before I accept your application to be a full time professional referee may I ask, which football team do you support?"

"Why Mr. Riley, I support The Alty of course!"

"Lovely stuff, welcome aboard"

*Taylor winks at camera, credits roll*

I remember a ref doing that to City at a corner back in the late 70s.

as per the REF WATCH THREAD, glad mr. Oliver has proved me a paranoid cunt, today. Hat off to him on a very solid officiating performance, imho.

Once paid fair dues, on the great post quoted above I can only comment:

YOU NEVER GET A FECKLIN CARL WHEN YOU NEED ONE!

Why do you do this every time? Is it purposely to cause shit?

Because any fuckwit can see the difference between this season and last with regards to officiating. This season (aside from the first two games where we were reduced to ten men for no reason at all), the officials are doing their job. No more. No favours. Just doing their job.

Last season, we were raped in every competition.
Once again I'll say it to You, although I do expect you to go hiding like you always do instead of debating the point:

Whether those shocking decisions were down to incompetence or bias or both, they really happened and there is video evidence to support my argument.

What is there to support yours?
