Man Utd ace Marcus Rashford wanted by Pep Guardiola: He’s contacted Jose Mourinho - report

MANCHESTER CITY boss Pep Guardiola is a big fan of Marcus Rashford and has enquired about the availability of the Manchester United man, according to sensational reports in Spain.

The England forward has been in superb form this season for the Red Devils, netting seven goals and providing six assists in all competitions.

Don Balon claim Guardiola is planning to sign Rashford in the summer in a transfer which would shock English football and has contacted Jose Mourinho.

The Spanish manager is said to be willing to guarantee the 20-year-old more minutes than the Special One at Old Trafford.

The reports also say Rashford is not completely against a move away from United at some point in his career.

The Red Devils will be desperate to keep hold of their star man who has been impressive all year.

Rashford celebrated his birthday yesterday as Manchester United swept aside the challenge of Benfica in the Champions League with a 2-0 victory.

And next up for Mourinho's side is a clash against his former team Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday.

Rashford will hope to start at Stamford Bridge and continue to keep Anthony Martial out of the side.

While the idea of Rashford signing for Manchester City is an extraordinary, the 20-year-old is a huge Red Devils fan.

That would mean even if Guardiola wants the England star, it will be a tough task get a deal over the line.

United are currently five points behind City in the Premier League after 10 matches but will look to close that gap this weekend.

I’d give them Aguero and KDB. Possibly let them have Ed and if they resist give them Stones plus £90 million as well.

Not sure if these players are up to the required Yooonitid standard.

Got a bit excited at the thread title. Then it went downhill very quickly after that. Not a prayer of this happening

we'd probably have to sweeten it with Sane and Sterling too, just to push it over the line. Maybe Mendy as well if we can get him fit in time.

If ever he did play for us, I could see his nose being offside all the time.

And throw in a voucher for 5 years free treatment in Barcelona. Oh, and Foden of course. Not sure that even all that lot would swing it but, y'know, fingers, toes and testicles crossed...

funny how, these days, in order to promote the local hero darling, it seems compulsory to link him to City. Juicy, isn't it?
