A 'Pep player' surely?

Now that he has fallen out with the shirty one, would we make a cheeky bid? Can he be cured of bomb-headedness? Is he the CB (or centre mid) we need?

He did have a very good season, last season, where he abandoned his wayward ways for once.

This season, he seems to have reverted to type, but that could be the situation at Chelsea now causing it.

He seems happier marking space rather than a player and he's happier on the ball than tackling and heading.

Could Pep turn him into a proper footballing defender playing to Pep requirements - probably, so it might not be a bad shout at all.

To my mind, it would depend on how cheaply we could get him.......without looking, how old is he anyway ??

Not a Pep player imo, selfish ill disciplined tosser. Can't see what role he would fill anyway.

same.
recent events at the Bridge confirm what the cunt would bring along with decent feet and pace.
Enough of the same stuff around, without mental issues.

In all fairness Mr H, last season when Conte switched to a back three, it seemed to suit him.

Do you not think Pep could bring out the best in him - I'm thinking Kolarov here ??

In essence, you're probably right, but who knows ??

Maybe just a coincidence but Brazil look a lot better since he was axed from their squad.

Absolutely not. He's a defender that wants to be a forward. He's a sideshow - no pun intended. He's also too big of a personality in the dressing room and he and Kun hate one another. He wouldn't be a good fit for us. He'd do alright at Liverpool, Everton, or a team with Europa League ambitions. If he's available, I can see Big Sam coming in for him in January with Fahad Moshiri's money, to shore up the Everton defence - Ashley Williams has tried his best to be a clown for them so far this season, Luiz is more than capable of fulfilling that role.
Alternatively, I think Moyesy would fancy him at West Ham...

I would!

There is a darth of defenders around let alone ones that can play football first and foremost its why we are linked to jonny bloody evans so if likes of luiz was available i would take him. We need a central defender that bits for certain and who is available and better?

no. he's terrible.

plus, theres no such thing as "cheeky bid" with Abramovich. he'd make us pay at least 45M and there's no iteration of the universe in which Luiz is worth that much.

Shirley you're not suggesting there is something dodgy going on with Chelsea's dealings in the transfer market.

Of course pep could bring the best out of him but would that really be good enough. He was ok with 2 very good holding midfielders in front of him.

He did get something out of Kolarov but he wasnt good enough either and cocked up plenty to prove it.I think Luiz would do the same.Anyway he would be a benchwarmer at best
